With the myriad of services Green Pointe Tree Care arborists provide, our customers naturally have lots of questions about what we do and how we can assist them. These are just some of the questions that we regularly hear. If you have a question you don’t see detailed here, getting answers is as quick and easy as calling or contacting us online.

The best time to spray is Spring and depending on your trees history will depend what is sprayed. We might use our new systemic injector method which delivers the needed fertilizer and treatment directly into the soil to the roots, or we inject directly into the trunk of the tree.

Pest control aims to eradicate whatever type of infestation is causing a problem in your yard or landscaping. This requires identifying pests’ type(s) and determining the most appropriate way to deal with the issue. Because we tailor our services to your needs, you can rest assure we will provide the most effective resolution at the lowest possible cost.

When renting, we are often asked who is responsible for pest control.  The short answer is it depends on your agreement with your landlord or property management company. If you are a renter who needs pest control in northern Utah, we can work with you and the homeowner or business owner to resolve the problem quickly and efficiently.

No, but out of courtesy we will inform you when we will arrive so you can bring your pets in for a hour… but honestly there is no risk and we use effective but safe ORGANIC Mineral Oil as one of our solutions when spraying trees.

We love our friendly pollinators and we will schedule a time in the early morning or at dusk when the bees are returning to their hives, then we will treat your trees and shrubs safely.

After pest control treatment, returning to your yard or garden within about an hour is generally safe. We typically request that you keep children and pets away from the area for that duration just to be safe. Because the type of treatment can vary based on the problem you’re having, we will give you detailed instructions on how to proceed after we have completed your treatment.
